“With all of the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the License Division is taking precautionary measures to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on members of the public and on License Division employees. Therefore, as of Monday, March 16, 2020, and until further notice, License Division will only be accepting new and renewal applications online, and no in-person business will be conducted at License Division facilities. If you have acquired a firearm which has not yet been inspected by License Division, you must keep the firearm secured at your licensed premises until it has been inspected. It is your responsibility to bring the firearm to License Division at One Police Plaza for inspection within 72 hours after License Division re-opens for in-person business. Please check the License Division website regularly for updates.”
